Hello from Bakersfield, CA

What a great place this is. I discovered it a week ago so its time to join!

Had the RV bug for some time and took the leap the first week of June 2010 when we purchase our 2011 Ford F250 6.7L SB diesel Super Duty - a great truck and that has nearly 20,000 miles on it now. A month later we fell in love with a 2011 36' Raptor 300MP toyhauler and the honeymoon is still going on. It was mid August 2010 before we could take the 5'ver home. We went with a Pullrite 16k SuperGlide hitch (with SuperRails) but had to wait for Pullrite to finish developing mounting brackets to fit the new Ford truck.

So far we have had a great time traveling with my brother in law who pulls his 2010 Fusion toyhauler. We have made several trips to the Central Coast of California, a week’s stay in Death Valley last November (a great time of year to visit!) and the past two weeks visiting Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon, the Indian cliff dwellings in Walnut Canyon near Flagstaff, AZ and Sedona, AZ.

We've heard to many stories of RV's that just sit so we're doing our best to really get out and enjoy ours.

Sounds like you are not wasting any time making good use of your new RV and truck! Glad to hear that your love affair (with the Toyhauler) and your honeymoon are still going on. Pleased to have you with us and welcome to the group.
