Blade Vents vs Other Aftermarket Vents

I also replaced the blade air vents on our 2023 Montana 311RD. I was confident the blade vents were in the proper position (aligned with the duct) to maximize capturing the air flow, but the air flow still seemed to be weak. After trying different systems I stayed with the AIRDIRECT vents (RV Airflow Systems) and have been very satisfied with the performance. As with other vent systems, it's very important to align the air flow deflectors that extend into the duct which captures and deflects the air downward to the vent, with the direction of air flow, to maximixe the volume of air passing through the vent. Not all vent systems have these deflectors, but I feel they are an important design feature that helps to improve performance and get the most airflow through the vent. Aftermarket systems which can be installed to direct air from the AC straight to the duct (after passing through the evaporator coil), I believe can significantly improve the volume of cooled air reaching each vent....IMO, but my comments are based on personal experience of trying different products and methods until finding what worked to handle the heat here in Florida where I live year round.

I have to disagree, Ive had in command since 2019 and really wouldn't want to be without it.

I might change my mind if it craps out and parts become unobtainium but for now I really appreciate it.

The fact that it isn't being installed any more worries me somewhat as replacement parts are most likely to become more expensive and rare.
