Floor structure

Can anyone tell me the structural material used by Keystone for the floor, and the thickness of it? I'm looking to install a small safe and want to bolt it to or through the floor. I would like to know how secure that might be. I have a Vantage but figure Keystone uses generalized structural materials.

Ours is "structurewood" which is a waterproof OSB type of sheeting. It's 7/8" thick and supposedly guaranteed for life (whatever that means)

If you're going to cut a hole in it and then install the safe, you could always add 1/8" steel plate under the flooring around the edges and bolt into that. Then, it'd pretty much mean taking a 2' square out of the floor to get the safe out. By then, somebody will have heard the rukus or they would have gotten tired and quit.....

The brochure for the Vantage says that it has a laminated floor, so it is likely like the 2" luan-foam-luan laminated floor in our Premier.

You can remove one of your floor heat vents and should be able to see how it is made.

Thanks to you all for the info. I might have thought of looking at the floor vent hole - eventually.

Floor structure

I pulled one of the floor vents. The vent covers and obscures the underlying structure but at the corners there was enough of a gap to get a peek. Looks like 1/4 inch plywood on top with a thicker synthetic material underneath.
