Slide out noise

When the slideout on my trailer hits the end of the travel I get a weird noise. Kind of a louder er er er. I am not sure if it sounds like a gear slipping, but it is close.
When my old trailer's slideout hit the end of the travel the motor noise just slowly died out and then switched off.

Is a noise like this normal? My warranty is ending soon and wondering if it needs to be checked out. Thanks!

Here is a video of the noise:https://youtu.be/jIIrX7k-vi8

Welcome to the forum!!

The noise your hearing is a ratcheting, correct? Perfectly normal for that type of slide. We call it a “ motor clutch” and letting it click a few times at each end of travel won’t cause any damage.
