The black water and gray water sensors always show partially full even after I drain the tanks. Service said to flush tank with water hose after draining to clean off sensors. Has anyone else had this issue and what have you done to correct?

Everyone that's ever owned a rv has had that issue!
Those sensors are for the most part totally useless for giving any accurate information. Yes there are those that state with proper treatment they work very well.
I think I've tried about every method, every chemical & every magic elixir & after filling a couple times they are useless again, I quit looking at them.
I've owned 7-8 rvs & have yet to have one that those things were worth the power to light the pretty red lights.
You'll drive yourself nuts spending time or money to make them of any use!

Learn to judge your holding tank status through experience. For the gray tanks, you'll learn how many days you can go before you need to start preparing to dump them. For the black tank, you'll learn from the "burps and gurgles" when you've got only a few flushes left. Listen to your toilet and it will tell you, far more accurately than any red light on a push button gauge when the tank is nearing full.

The dealership is correct, keep the sensors clean and they work pretty well.... Problem is, who's going to crawl inside a half full black tank to clean the sensors so you'll know it's half full ????? They work when clean but the tank contents aren't clean so they won't work when the tank is in use.....

RV tank sensors, isn't that French for "sell a bunch of useless chemicals"? Some folks swear they've never had a problem with them but most folks that I know just swear at them. Welcome to camping!

We don't need to learn by no stinkin' experience. I go out and dump the black tank when the missus screams that her feet are in an inch or two of, well something in the tub when taking a shower. They conveniently drained the shower into the black tank instead of the gray which sits to the rear of the shower and black tank. That is one alarm that WILL NOT BE IGNORED!

Yes sir George. I pay close pretty close attention to my tanks and what they tell me, BUT, if my shower and black tank were combined and what came up in the bottom of the tub was ???? I would be going to some extreme measures to make sure I wasn't standing in some "floating soapy water"!
