Window latch ( knob )

I just bought a 2015 passport 2400. The two windows by the bunks have knobs to turn to open the windows and I can turn them a little then the window tried to open but binds up. The other windows work fine.

Do these have a lock of some kind or is it possible the past owner never used then and they are just stuck? I feel like I will break something is I try any harder...

I'm assuming you're talking about the little knurled knobs that turn to open/close the window. If so, the window can become pretty stuck over time if they aren't opened. Ours have been really tight at times and I just twist until the seal pops and it opens. You might have someone go outside and see if they can assist the window while you turn if it seems like the knob will break.

The seals are stuck (sticky) and won't release to allow the window to open. I'd try turning the knob as far as it goes (easily) then go outside and use your fingers to pull outward on the window. That will usually release the seals and then you can go back inside and finish by using the knob. You might want to spray some silicone on a paper towel and wipe it on the rubber seals before you close the windows for an extended time.

You can also try waiting until the window is in direct sunlight as it may be sticking due to the rubber weather strip. This might release once it heats up a little. Mine were sticky the first few times I opened them. I would turn the knob to apply a constant firm pressure and they would pop loose. My dealer cautioned me during the PDI not to apply too much pressure as the mechanism can break.

I have had to use a plastic wedge to free the glass on some new units. As stated above, silicone spray on a rag wiped on the seal does wonders.

Great idea, I may actually have a plastic wedge. Thanks for the thought!
