Upgrading Suspension 2016 Passport Elite

Has anybody upgraded there travel trailer suspension. I'm looking to change out the old with equa flex cushioned equalizer. Looking for Pro's and Con's. I'm still a newbie to the RV world. I use a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 to pull a 2016 Pass Port Elite made by Keystone.

I upgraded to equi flex equilizers in an effort to reduce chucking on my Montana 5er. They helped a bit, but I ended up upgrading to Reese Airborne pin box to totally eliminate chucking. My biggest issue with the suspension was the OEM installed leaf springs. The axles are rated at 6,000 lb each. Keystone chose to use 2,500 lb rated leaf springs. Axles can handle 12,000 lb but springs only 10,000. OEM springs sheared (by the shackle) on two different occasions causing much anxiety. Lucky we were able to limp to repair shop to replace. I've now installed 4 new 3,000 lb rated springs. Put about 4,000 miles on this setup with no issues.

I would contact MorRyde & visit with them as yours appears to be the wide stance axles. I upgraded to the MR heavy shackles (1/2" thick shackles) with wet bolts (high grade bolts with enough bronze bushings to replace on the suspension) kit & it was a big improvement.
Dexter also has cushioned equalizers that look very good.

The trailer's certification label - found on external surface, FWD, LH side of trailer - will have the official GAWR rating for the axles. It doesn't make any difference if they have been upgraded or not, the official rating will not change.
