Benefit of Rear Camera

I didn't see any thing about lag in these comments. Most I've seen have lag in the signal. I would be concerned about changing lanes with the camera. Of course this comes from a person with no experience with a camera.

I can't back at all with a camera, and a "cheapo" to boot. I carry some long yellow ski ropes, drape them on the ground along the line I want my inside tires to follow, then just keep the tires on the rope all the way to my parking position. Can easily back my 30' a hundred yards down a narrow alley, swing it 45 degrees and put it between two 10 foot wide posts of my shed. Even easier in a camp site.

Great idea, but how do you get the rope out from under the tires when your trailer is in its final parking spot ?????

I don’t have any system, I’ve just installed them. The Furrion with the rear view and 2 marker light cameras includes a monitor that you can scroll through the views and I thought all 3 at once.

I just went from a 26 foot to a 34 foot larado. I never had a camera on my old camera. My wife put a camera on my new one for a valentines day present. I drove 270 miles through Kansas City and Omaha and loved it for the fact i could see behind my camper. It was like having a rear view mirror. The camera i got was a Furrion and i did not have any reception problems at all. The parts guy at the rv dealer said they made huge improvements in the last year and i think he was right. My Furrion even put the lines on the screen like my trucks camera. I think it was well worth it.

I have a Furrion Visions FOS7TASF Wireless Vehicle Observation System with rear and side cameras. The rear camera is most useful when towing as I see vehicles approaching from behind on both sides and in back. They are not useful for backing.
