New tow rig

Recently sold my 2011 F-150 EcoBoost with Max Tow pkg. Upgraded to a 2013 F-250 6.2. It tows my 28ft Keystone Hornet so much better. I did like how the turbo v6 did not rev as much as the 6.2. I will get used to that over time. Now having the Propride 3P hitch and F-250 is a bit of overkill for the camper.

I have the same set up as you have now. You will not regret having the Propride with the F250 on longer trips. Rock solid and relaxing tow experience with the 3P.

I upgraded from an f150 to an f250 a 1 1/2 ago. Same as you have the pro pride hitch. It's now overkill. Last time we went out on the way home wind was blowing around 30 mph and gusting to 45 mph. Trailer never swayed 1 time. Wind moved the both of us as 1 unit but it never swayed. At that point I was glad I still had the pro pride hitch

Funny thing. I sold the Hornet 27BHS today and am looking for a bit larger unit. Locally I am seeing a 2013 Outback Terrain 32`TBH. I see plenty of deals on the aluminum sided units. I am not sure if other than looks it is worth the extra for a fiberglass sided unit. So many options.

I went through the same thing. In the end I bought a fiberglass and aluminum unit because I felt you get more value and options per pound over stick and tin. Enjoy the search for a new rig.

Congratulations on your new TV. If you are looking for feedback about a future purchase of a TT, I would suggest posting in the Prospective Owner's Questions rather than this forum - about Tow Vehicles.
