Add on clear sewage valve

I just added a clear sewage valve to our rig to try to keep the black tank clean. Are these "permanent" or do I need to remove it with each camp tear down?

I leave mine on all the time and have seen others doing the same. IMHO, it should be fine as long as it's not such that it sits so low to the ground that a chug-hole would take it out.

Lights not working

The entry light to our rig no longer comes on when we open the door or any other time. New bulbs and fuses are fine. Any ideas? Also the two round lights(one is pictured) has not worked for a whole either. New bulbs and fuses here also. Any ideas?

If it is the bayonet style fitting (i.e. twist on), I would remove before travelling. It is one more thing that could be struck by road debris and brake off. If you do leave it attached, the sewer cap needs to be on.

As far as the entry light not coming on, there is a plunger switch behind the middle hinge on the screen door, take the 2 screws out and you will probably find the wires are burnt off the switch, you may want to turn off the 12 volt power to the rig first before removing switch, if you need a new one you can buy them at trekwood.com As far as the other lights, I can not help you out there on that one....Good Luck

For some unforseen reason, the entry light started working again LOL. Don't know what was going on but we will try your fix if it happens again.
