Coleman stovetop griddle

Hello friends,

Well, even though it's only the end of February, I'm starting to think of my summer camping season (I have sites booked in southern BC and Washington!), and I've been thinking of my breakfasts.

Can anyone recommend a cast-iron griddle that would fit on top of my regular-sized Coleman stove? Last year I bought an aluminum one, and wasn't terribly impressed, as it kept hotspots over the two burners. I'm thinking a cast-iron piece would be better.

Recommendations?

Kevin

Other than a Dutchoven I do not have any cast iron as I end up over heating it on the burner and everything burns or you have to wait so long for it to cool. I have had a cast aluminum griddle for years, I think it is a Coleman one made for the 2 burner stoves. I like the way it heats.

On our weber Q, I use a Camp Chef Griddle, very heavy cast iron, works very well for us...
