glaicer nat. park

Anyone have a suggestion for a full hookup campground close to glacier nat. park. How are the roads pulling a 38 ft. 5th wheel near the park. thanks for the help.

Length Limits

I have never pulled a long trailer inside the park; but there are signs that declare trailer length limits on certain park roads.

I would definitely check it out first - not a lot of turnaround room.

We just got back from Glacier and stayed outside the West Entrance and stayed at Mountain Meadows RV Campground Located in Hungry horse Montana about 8 Miles from the West entrance. Nice with lots of trees like a campground. Also located in Columbia Falls Montana about 15 Miles from West entrance is Columbia Falls RV Park that looks like a nice modern RV Park. Check RVparkreview.com to get User Reviews on them.

We just got back from Glacier. No full hook ups in the park itself. No way you can pull a camper on the Going-to-the-Sun road through the park.

We stayed at Timber Wolf RV and resort in Hungry Horse. Very convenient to West Glacier and Columbia Falls. We stayed at a back-in spot on the back row. Pretty tight for parking. Next time I'll get one of the pull-throughs.

If you stay there, say hi to Tara and David for us! Have fun!
