The campground crew that helped us out.

Now I hope I have your attention! Anyone here who may have the great opportunity to camp in Nicholls, GA at General Coffee State Park, will be pleased to hear that they have the nicest and most helpful staff I have ever met.

This past weekend we had our 'share' of problems with our truck and our RV.

The truck broke down soon after we arrived - no diesel repair, no taxi's, no car rentals on weekends - at all or anywhere nearby. The staff from the park took us to town, took my hubby to the car rental on Monday then took us back to the RV. All was a hassle during our 3 day ordeal.

But we got the truck repaired and made it home last night. The staff at the State run Park was wonderful. Tried so hard to find us a tow truck, a repairman, a rental car.........they were wonderful.

KUDOS to them!

Thanks from one weary traveler this past weekend,

Jo

Make sure you let park management know about this.
Being a state park they need this type of response from us as campers.
I enjoy every trip to our local state parks and have never met an ugly acting NC Park Ranger or staff person. I would really love to be able to do month long camp hosting gig. BUt this job keeps getting in the way..
If only tonight....5 hundred million dollars...
camping full time I would be...
