Fresh water tank issues on a 2000 260 BH

Just bought my first camper and was doing some small repairs. I noticed my vent hose for the fresh water tank is plugged up with junk and would like to replace it. I followed the hose under the couch and thru the floor, but can anyone tell me how to get to the other end of the hose to remove from the tank and replace?

The "junk" is most likely construction debris from when the trailer was built. I would try blowing back on the hose to clear it. Then flush out the tank real good without over filling so it does not happen again. Sometimes it is a project to get to the top of the tank to connect the vent. JM2˘, Hank

Agreed. If the debris can be blown back into the FW tank, then it can be flushed out the tank.

Reaching the top side of a tank that is slung under the chassis is not always an easy DIY task.

One other question for the OP. Is the junk actual stuff that you can see, or is it an obstruction that you can not visualize? Some have reported kinks in the vent. If it is a kink, then you may be in for a bit more effort.
