New Alpine 3400 Owner

Hi All, just traded my FR Heritage Glenn for a Keystone Alpine 3400RS. I don't take delivery till April and we are really looking forward to the new RV. We are still working and will be retiring in 3 years and plan to travel the USA in the winter months (warm states) and Canada in the summer months. We are Canadians from the Ottawa, Ontario area. We have been campers all our life and have owned just about every type and find the 5th wheel to be the best for us.

Cheers Tom

I think you will really enjoy the new Alpine when you pick it up. Do yourself a HUGE favor and DL the manual to the “In Command” system. I believe yours will be the global connect series that also controls AC and furnace.

I’ve owned my Alpine since 2014. Very pleased with it. A few minor issues at first and one dealer item for a cracked rear cap they repaired better than new.

Enjoy.

Also I’d spend the time to DL every manual for each appliance and keep available in a cloud storage.

ChuckS, thanks for the welcome. I have a digital repository on my iPad with all the manuals I could find so far and plan to add the remainder when I find the model numbers. I also have a binder that I will put all the ones that come with the Alpine. Dealer was really happy when he received all the ones for the trade trailer. Yes I have been reading manuals and watching lots of YouTube video's on the InCommand Gen 3. I'm pretty geeky so can't wait to get my hands on that. We went to tons of shows over the last two years and we kept coming back to the Alpine so we think we have picked well for us. Looking forward to spring now. Hoping to tour your neck of the woods in a few years.

Cheers Tom

Welcome to the forum. I really love the Alpine line. My wife and I lived in ours for the first year we had it.

Yes I do. I installed it behind the breaker panel. I also installed a 30 amp connector on the passenger side front with an automatic switch to use with my generator.
