furnace problems

the furnace in my 2006 cougar 296efs kicks in by itself at all hours and temps.sometimes there is a clicking noise and the yellow light is on in ceiling mounted display.also,where is the darn thermostat?is it in the remote control?..my question is ..can I just disconnect the furnace from power source and question ...where is power source or fuse?ive looked in panel ,etc,etc,help!!!

Your RV's furnace fan and control circuits are 12 VDC. Look in your power distribution panel and you should see a 12V fuse labeled furnace? I don't know where your thermostat is - ours is on the wall about middle of the coach.
Once you locate the thermostat, you should be able to turn everything off there - or you can kill the power at the dist. panel. Good luck.

Usually same thermostat is used for heating and AC. Never seen one in the ceiling as stated should be on a wall somewhere in center of trailer. Obviously if you pull the 12VDC fuse in the distribution panel label furnace than will shut it off but at some point you will need to find the thermostat to control the heating and AC
