New from Florida

We purchased a 2013 Keystone Laredo 294RK lite in Oct 2013. We have only used it for 2 weekends last year. Looking forward to the summer at the KOA.

Congrats and enjoy. Welcome to the forum. Are you seasonal at a KOA?

Don't neglect the Florida State Parks. Some of the best camping in the nation and cheap compared to private CG's.

Red face Storage

We store our TT there for the summer but get to camp 8 days a month. That works for us because we are not retired yet. . It's only 275.00 a month to leave it there. We are only 45 min from the KOA in Okeechobee. Have looked into some state park but are just learning how all this works. Had a 25 ft Open Road Light it was very nice but to small. Had it 3 months and traded for our Laredo. So we have camped very little and looking forward to a full summer of camping. Would like to take it to River Ranch and Sebring has a state park we would like to camp at. Have to figure out why our back wall on the out side bows when we travel.

The back wall on many RV's is not constructed like the side walls - it doesn't have the usual studs, rigid insulation, or fiberglass make up. Essentially, it is a one piece sheet that is only fastened at the top, bottom sides and where the window is. Otherwise, it is not held firmly in place and will "flex and give" if you push on it. In some places, it may appear bowed - even when you are not traveling. This bowing is nothing to get excited about - it is quite normal.

Oh yes, welcome to the forum.

Warm Welcome

TY for the warm welcome! This is a great place to meet, chat and most of all learn. Festus2 I worried because it was so extreme, looked like push pins in a marshmellow. The service department was amazed how ballooned it was. They asked us to bring it back today(we sent pics) and we are going to. Will take more pics after it arrives because in that 45 min drive it will be worse then just sitting in drive way. It's alittle more everyday...will let you know the out come.
