Transfer switch

Morning.
Can someone tell me where to locate the transfer switch on 2012 Raptor 300MP?

Also is behind switch the best place to mount a fixed surge protector?

Thanks

On mine it's in the basement mounted on the front wall street side.

Can't help you with the other question.

Ours is the same as Canesfan except it is dead in the center of the wall, high up. And I also cannot help you with the other question.

Welcome to the forum

Placement of the transfer switch will depend on available space. In a fifth wheel it is easiest to put it behind the rear wall of the basement. If you have a remote display for the surge protector, then behind the same wall is fine. If it's not remote display then on the front of the rear wall will allow you to read the display.

Both of your power sources need to go to the transfer switch BEFORE the surge protection.
