What's your camping window?

Hi guys/gals I'm wondering what your yearly camping windows are. Is it June, August or other months?
I've read here and on another forum that while I'm sitting in the heat others have snow and really bad rain storms.
So what's your windows during the year?

Pretty much year-round. But that's Texas 8 months of summer, 2 months of spring, 7 weeks of fall and 1 week of winter.

That's 8 months of TEXAS summer! Waaaaaaay different than your B.C. Summer for sure. That means 8 months of air conditioning to most Texans.

For us it depends on the year. Snow is usually melted in the mountains by early to mid-June, and it usually starts snowing again in October.

May 1 to Oct 31 for the most part, we sometimes stop earlier in Oct. we try to do at least 3 weekends a month, some long weekends and a week. Would like to do 2 weeks but once in awhile something else comes up.

Feb- Dec. There's always someplace that is warm enough to camp without dealing with freeze up problems. Pretty much if the lows are upper 20s we're good.

My window is 365 days, if I can't go to a campground, I can go to the backyard where the rates are reasonable, full hookups including satellite TV.

Each year is different, last year in the Willamette Valley we got out for 9 trips for a total of 44 nights, from May to October. This year our first trip was end of March and we hope to be able to be camping through September and into October. Best months for reservations long in advance are July and August where we know their will be plenty of sun, during the other months its watch the weatherman and hope he is right. Bottom line we have been able to get out at least once or twice each month from May to October.

May to September. We are about 6 hrs south of the north west territories, so winter can rear it's ugly head sooner and later than we'd like. Cool thing about summer up here though is that around the summer solstice we have sunlight about 20 hrs a day! That being said in the winter the sun only comes up at 10am and is down by 4pm.

March to November here in NC. we usually go somewhere near the end of march and our last trip is usually the week of Thanksgiving. Summers are going to the NC/VA mountains to escape the NC heat and humidity. My average nights camping over the last few years is 35 nights year. But thats more than I ever did in motel rooms.
This year we made Charleston, SC for early April, Myrtle Beach in May. This summer might be slim to camping as I have some surgery coming up. September is the coast of NC and we do a Halloween trip for several days(maybe a week this year). then our 8 day week at T-day. Camper is parked for average of 4 months during the winter.

Kinda depends on where in BC.

I start May long weekend. This year, could have been earlier.

My September is screwed up as it's my company's Year-end and I have to manage inventory counts, etc. Otherwise I'd be to the end of September most years.

I try to book every 2nd weekend leaving time for fishing. Then 2 weeks in July or August.

We're also in southern New Mexico (& a stone's throw from TX), so "year-around" camping isn't unusual for us either.
