8.1 Gas

I have a 2001 GMC Crew Cab Dually with a 8.1 gas and Allison automatic. I pull a 2010 Fuzion 383 Touring Edition 11 5th wheel, wich is 40' triaxle. Except for millage the truck does a good job especially since it has been paid for since 2005. Happy trails to all campers out there.

I also have an 01 Chevy dually with the 8.1 and Allison. Love this combination. Sent my PCM to an outfit in canada to be reprogrammed, and got back a real monster. Pulls like a freight train and has no problems with my 3500RE. Mileage is crappy when really pulling, but otherwise ~10-13mpg . Just a great tow vehicle and can't beat the value of this rig.
