don't overthink this. just use the proper tires and torque the lugs and for the first 25-100 miles retorque.....then everyone once in a while check the torque.

etrailer and other sites will give you the torque specs.

you can get a torque wrench on amazon or walmart for around $40

As a side note on torqueing the lug nuts;

I don't think I saw what your TV is. I have had issues with TV lug nuts in the past with a 1/2 ton truck. Had the OEM 20" wheels and P rated tires (still did it with LT tires). After a full day traveling (usually 6 hrs. +/- 1 hr.) I would check all the lugs, truck and trailer, each morning before departure. Without fail 2-4 lugs on the rear tires of the TV would have to be retightened about 1/4 turn....every day. Initially I thought it was the weight (about 1000lbs. on the receiver) and P tires so went to LT tires. Still persisted. Went to 130lbs. torque and still did it ....and did until I traded the vehicle. HD truck never did it.

So I figure, depending on the load, the truck and the wheels you might encounter an issue like that one day. Never had it before (although I admittedly didn't check TV tire torqued for many years) and haven't had it since with an HD truck. I figure it was the fact that it was a 1/2 ton truck not meant for that load and it was about 200lbs. over payload. Another reason to have "enough" truck IMO.

Not at all, thank you for verifying and replying back. I’m grateful.
