Avoid I-35E Denton to Dallas Loop 635

Avoid this stretch of I 35E if you can. Several one lane areas. Heavy construction. Sat in traffic at 0-20MPH for an hour at 9:30AM.

If there's any way to dodge that stretch at ANY time it's worth your time. I've never made that stretch in the last 10 years that something didn't happen to stop traffic....but then again, I'm unlucky that way

In January I tried Hwy 12/408 that runs north/south on the west side of Dallas, it was just as bad. Pretty bad me being from Houston and complaining about Dallas traffic.

Same here. I'm thinking it's back to using US59 and up eastern Oklahoma next time. Tenaha, Timpson, Bobo and Blair.
But next time will be a while and I will probably forget.....again.

We take 31 to Canton and 20 or then 19 up to 40

I try to avoid the major areas during rush hour. Can't really avoid them all the time.
