Saying goodbye
Today I say goodbye to the man who taught me more about the RV world and anything else. When he stopped pulling his dream I purchased his TV. This man is my grandpa he may be gone but never forgotten

Sorry for your loss. My father in law passed in July, ironically we just got back from a camping trip with them. We camped the weekend came back Sunday afternoon very early Monday morning got the call from my mother in law to come home quick. We jumped out of bed ran to the truck and drove the 4 blocks to their house. Longest drive of my life turning the corner seeing all the emergency lights was the worst. We will be forever grateful we spent the weekend listening to all his old camping stories we'd heard a thousand times before. It's still rough to go without him. Keep on camping and pass your grandfathers love of RV'ing onto the next generation.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Families are forever, so you will have the chance to rejoice and see him again.

I am so sorry for your loss. The physical loss will always be there -
BUT - he will always live in your heart.

I try to respect my elders but it's getting harder and harder to find any.

Sorry for your loss. My dad taught me everything I know. He is too old to pull anymore at 84 but we still take him when we go. Camping is in our blood

My dad just passed the 29th of January. Even at 89 he would have liked nothing better than to either crank up the old International Emeryville and haul one more load of swinging beef to the east coast or polish up the Allegra motor home and take on Yellowstone one more time. And as previously said it is important to pass down the convictions of our elders. Although, now that I think about it, I don't think my dad ever told me how much work this RV'ing could be, lots of hoses, cables, leaks and the like. I guess we just always made it up with the coffee pot, campfire, talking and a cold one on occasion.
