Smile Flooding, road closures, full campgrounds

One week into our 9 month plus road trip finds us in Kansas City where it is currently 102 degrees! Travelling south throught southern Sask. into the Dakotas found most campgrounds totally flooded and closed. Diverted at the border at Estavan as the bridge was out. Amazed at the flooded farm fields, closed highways, closed campgrounds, etc.. If your travelling in these areas make prior reservations if you can. Very pleased with the mileage I am getting from my F350 Diesel with a two up quad in the back and pulling our 30 ft. Outback. Averaging a consitent 13 miles to a gallon at 58 miles an hour. Other than battling the heat wifey and I our throughly enjoying ourselves.
