They probably could, but I would have to take out a loan to pay the weight fees here in California. My 2014 3500 was $1000 last year and the fee are going up this year.

A cousin of mine would call that new Ford gauche. She likes to speak French and has Commie tendencies. She's conflicted. I would just call it over the top nuts. Probably sell a bunch.
I'm liking my truck more and more every day.

Would love to have one!
If they gave it to me.
No way could I or would I be able to spend that.
I've bought 2 homes cheaper than that.
This is a dream for most.
BUT I would be interested to see how many get sold.
I am shopping now for 2013/14 or so and they are still high retail. mid 40's with a hundred thousand miles on them.

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone pushed the boundaries and introduced the $100k truck. Leave it to Ford to throw it out there. I hope it is a tremendous flop. If sales are good, it won't be long before GM and Ram follow and then the prices of the current high end trucks will jump from the mid 70s into the mid 80s. Looks like my 2011 Duramax is going to last me much longer. On the brighter said, as they continue to push the prices up, the value on mine seems to be holding very well.

Now all they have to do is to find customers willing to pay that much for one!! Not me! Not sure I'd even pay that for a new Ram!!

I will never sell my truck. I'm at the point that the toy hauler would go first...and there are no plans for that. The prices on the 12v and 24v Gen 2 Rams have held pretty well recently and I have a couple of buddies with a Dmax like yours and a 7.3 F350 who are holding tight.
Lot's of activity on the DTR (Dodge Cummins) forum. Guys are saving (and savoring) the Gen 1's and repairing the new ones. A good 12valve is in demand.
One guy replaced the entire DEF system on his newer, work 4500. Still stuck in limp mode. That's what scares me on the newer trucks. The Aisin is holding up well with BIG loads, though. I'm a simple guy, in my own complicated way. The new trucks leave me cold.
