Toilet Petal Leak

2019 Keystone Cougar with a Dometic 310 toilet has a leak. When you press the petal to add water or flush and then turn it loose, 5-6 big drops of water comes from the petal, actually from a seam in the petal. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?
Thanks,
Stucky

It’s not the pedal. Replace the valve. It’s $17 and 5-10 minutes of work. Pretty simple job without needing to remove the toilet.

There is a freeze plug in that piece of plastic so that if there is water in it and it freezes, it can leak. I carried a spare in my camper for that reason at one time.
