Tow Vehicle Tires

I ran BFG AT/KO on my Dodge 2500 Cummins. I found that empty pressure of 65 front and 55 rear (unloaded) gave me the best ride and tire wear. Loaded, I ran 70 front and 80 rear. That being said, I stopped using BFG products because the rubber was too soft (or some other issue) and the tires just didn't last as long as I thought they should... 30-40k miles at best. I switched over to Cooper ATP from discount tire and found that they did as good of a job off and on road, and held up better. They were also half the price and were the only AT tire that came with a prorated 55,000 mile warranty. My new truck has the Firestone Transforce HT so we shall see how they work. On the amazing side of things, I am currently visiting family in Wyoming and was up at a property we own in the Bighorn Mountains right on the Montana/Wyoming line. Saw a rancher that I know take his truck (that is identical to mine except for color) up a dirt two track road to the top of a mesa where he had cattle grazing. This two track was so steep and rocky that I had major pucker factor while riding an ATV up and down it. He shut some gates and then went down the same two track... needless to say, I felt like a wuss for being nervous on the 4 wheeler. His truck was sporting Firestone HTs and he told me he has no problem with them anywhere.
