I don't think that I have ever seen a tandem axle school bus so I wonder what kind of hybrid this is. I also don't think he has any payload issues. I did not get close enough to see if the frame was welded anywhere.

I like but do want to point out it isn't a school bus. It has KOOL BUS painted on the side. Would be neat to hear the story on how they did that tandem axle set up. You could also store 493 bicycles between cab and camper!

It would make sense if it's a real truck frame and the bus cab was fitted to it.
Say the cab of a truck was smashed and the bus cab bolted onto the frame.
Why cut up a school bus body and add the dually axle gear?
But, I have seen guys miss match car/truck parts that made sense to them and not me.
