Blue light out on keytv mssc

we have a fuzion 369 which had a furrion batwing antenna. So far two have fallen off somewhere. We discovered there's a recall on the furrion for multiple units dated early July. We've contacted keystone and they confirmed. The fix is to replace it with a winegard air 360 dome antenna which we went and purchased. Now we discovered that the blue light is out on the Keytv mssc. It has 12v power but no blue light. We can't figure out the issue. New antenna won't work and no TVs will work.

Your positive you have 12V going to the KeyTV module? If so then just use a short coax, with ends. Put one end in the ANT IN of the module then using a volt meter test for 12V on the coax. The center is positive and the threads are negative. Be sure not to short it out while testing.

Assume we can do it with a test light? We only have a 20 ft coax. Will those work? We checked and there is power going into the keytv unit.

Well. There ya go. We have power going to the keytv unit but no power to the ANT IN. Does that mean the Keytv unit is cooked? Or is there a way to reset? Have to assume something happened to it when the second furrion antenna flew off. What are our options?

I would say the module is done. Depending on purchase date, it could be a warranty item.

It actually may end up being part if the recall issue. We had zero issue until the now recalled furrion antenna was ripped off again. Purchased the unit around January 2019.

I would definitely try for warranty replacement as “collateral damage”. Make sure your dealer words the claim correctly.
