Hi All: while rolling around under the tt to drain the fresh water tank what did I find but a quick connect fitting for the propane! No mention of an optional grill from the salesman or the tech that gave us a two hour pdi. Nothing in the brochure or on the web site even hinted of a grill option for this unit. The gas connector is on the curb side opposite the fresh water drain and just a little forward of the drain.
Now my Weber Q can join us again as it has already had the regulator removed so it can be used with an already regulated system.
Others might want to check if they have the connector and did not know it.
BTW, it is an 2020 Eastern Edition unit.

Cool find. My quick disconnect is at the back of our trailer.

Found the same thing on my 2018RBS. No mention of it in manual or brochure or by dealer, but definitely useful. Got the adapter for my Blackstone griddle, now if I could only find a way to convert my Coleman NX200 (the regulator is built in).

Do some research to be sure, but I think this is what you need to remove the existing "small tank regulator" and adapt to use your "trailer propane system"

That should be it I had a Coleman Road trip grill years ago and I made a similar fitting (no one made them back then)

John-
Thanks for the suggestion, but yeah that one doesn't work. I made a typo in original post - it's a Coleman NXT200. A really nice 20,000 btu unit, but instead of the external regulator being attached like the road trip series, the disposable bottle or hp hose screws directly into the control panel (pic attached). The regulator is built in. Still trying to research how to safely override it.

Thanks
Gary

Purchase these items & connect directly to your propane tank on the curb side, you won't have to remove any regulator.

Thanks Danny-
I'll check into that. Currently what I do if we're out for more than a weekend is I take a 20# with a 30" Coleman propane tree that lets me run the stove and my griddle and screw a propane lantern on top.

The only caveat I'll mention is the propane tree I have has the POL connector (solid brass and very secure). The newer ones have the Type 1 Connector which a lot of reviews have been slamming.

Thanks
Gary
