Campground 50amp Service

I never really gave it any thought into how strong the amperage were until I plugged our Outback this weekend into a very crowded park.
I found that the main AC unit when ran solo from the bedroom actually cooled to temp and held it, as compared to running both units and the main room would be like 9 degrees off the set temp trying to catch up.
Obviously the bedroom is a smaller space so no problems there.
So with the bedroom unit off and the main living area on....it actually did its job perfectly.
So now I think that although I have 50 amp service, the capacity of Trailers using 50amp may actually have something to do with my campsite output?
At any rate the Outback is working flawlessly [emoji106]Click image for larger version

Glad it's going good. What does your EMS say on the load/voltage?

Meaz, that is just a surge protector. All those lights will just tell you if something is wrong but do nothing about it with the exception of a power surge. It really tells you nothing about your incoming power, power consumption per leg etc. This is that unit - about $104 on Amazon;

The one that will tell you what is going on, recognize the faults then shut your trailer down before it is damaged is this one;

Here is a review on the latter model I posted;

You can see there is no comparison between it and the one you have.

Here is a comparison of the Surge Guard 34951 vs its Progressive counterpart;

I have no stake in Surge Guard. I own the 34950 and like it but I really like the 34951 with the remote. I've owned one Progressive but liked the readout on the Surge Guard. I am now going to buy the 34951 to get the remote which is the only shortcoming of the portable IMO.
