InCommand Remote Switch for Water Pump?

I have a new Keystone Cougar with InCommand. One of my peeves is that there is no water pump switch in the bathroom or near the kitchen sink!?...

You either have to have your phone on you or go the console to turn the pump on... I do note the bedroom light switch on the wall is a kind of remote that seems to tell the InCommand to turn Off & on the bedroom light - Is there a way to install a similar remote InCommand switch in the bathroom to turn on the water pump on?...

Before iN.Command, you had to go to a central location to turn on the water pump - doesn't seem any different other than now you CAN use your phone from anywhere...

Our Raptor has bedroom lights on a switch not associated with iN.Command at all - they are wired. I haven't seen such a "remote" switch for individual circuits back to iN.Command. How did you determine this is an iN.Command "remote" rather than just a wired switch?

Sorry I can't be more help.

Can’t say I’ve had much exposure to the in command system yet. I wonder if you could just find a constant 12V source and wire in a switch.

I don't understand the problem. When we camp, we either need the pump on or we don't. If we do, we turn it on and leave it. We don't need to turn it on while at the kitchen sink - it's already on by that time. Are you wanting to only turn the pump on when you need water? Why?

We do not travel with the water pump on as I don't want to take the chance of something falling and turning on a faucet while underway. Thatr would be a bad surprise.

We do however stop and use our bathroom vs the one in a rest stop. That requires water. I'll often get water from the kitchen sink for the dog during those stops as well.

I do the same. When I enter the cabin, I turn the pump on. When I leave (to continue travelling) I turn the pump off.

If yo7 really want to take the time to snake some wires from the BCM up to where you want a remote switch for water pump it can be done...

Depending on which version of In Command you have the connection points will vary ....

First is non global connect version and second pic is for global connect version...

Same here!
The switch on every rv we've owned has always been in a cabinet just inside the door so it's easy on coming in & easy off going out.

2020 Cougar 29RKS fifth wheel - water pump location

Can anyone tell me where the water pump is located in my fifth wheel? I want to winterize soon and can't be at the InCommand panel and exterior water panel location to turn pump on and off when at same time when I change gallon jugs. Maybe this is not an issue but hate searching if someone out there knows already. Thanks.

Can you connect with your phone app? Using my phone (and the appropriate iN-Command application) and can control all of the iN-Command features.

You don't need to shut the pump off to change jugs. That should only take a few seconds and the pump will prime itself and not be harmed in that short time period.
