We've been watching TV and listening with sad hearts as the tragedy unfolds. You are so right, the joy of Christmas has been taken away from so many. It's not just the families of the victims, but the entire community where they live. People all over the country share their loss and mourn with them. My wife and I pray for the families who lost loved ones and hope that somehow they can find peace and comfort during these troubling times.

I don't know if anyone could ever understand what happened, but know that throughout the nation, we share your grief.
