Camp-side Cinema package?

Looking to order a Fuzion 373. What is the camp-side cinema package? I cannot find any info about it anywhere. Does anyone know what this is or have it on their rig that can describe it? Seems like an expensive option...

I’m curious too. Didn’t see any explanation on the Keystone site

You can download the FUZION brochure at the Keystone website: https://www.keystonerv.com/brochures/

According to the FUZION brochure, the optional Camp Side Cinema is a "high definition projector and a drop down screen mounted on the awning" It's described (but not shown) on page 5 of the brochure.

Another way to annoy your neighbors at the campground.

Another one of those "hey, we're watching the game at 100% volume on the outside TV" at 11pm that invites folks like me. Better forgotten unless you use it in the "wilderness". JMO

Edit: when I commented inviting "folks like me", it wasn't to watch the TV.

Thinking about the "dynamics" of a pull down screen, mounted to the awning, I'd suspect you pull the screen down from the awning roller, so you either have to sit under the awning, looking out or sit outside the awning, "looking in"...

Either way, the screen is likely to be subjected to burning embers from a campfire, irate neighbors who are trying to get their cranky 3 year old to sleep or the entire campground is "sitting around your fire, watching your TV and likely to be drinking your beer....

I'd suspect this "next evolutionary step in outdoor TV" is going to be a "big hit some trips" and a source of campground arguments, complaints on other trips....

What happened to watching the embers in a campfire, making s'mores and enjoying the quiet peaceful evening away from all the city noise ?????

If it's an outdoor drive in type movie screen I certainly hope I NEVER get parked next to/anywhere near someone that has one.
IMHO outdoor speakers & tvs should be eliminated from RVs, from my experience most of those that have them have no consideration for those near them.

Agreed on all points. Will definitely pass on this option...not for me!

Thanks for replies!

Probably won't work anyway

I don't know if it's like the great key tv fiasco it probably is a short lived idea anyway. Dreamed up by Keystones finest.

For all the nay sayers, we had a person in our large camp group that would show (project) kids movies on the rear of their TT and the kids thought it was great. Had many other campground kids come with their sleeping bags and pillows to watch also. They had a great time and still remember the good times at the CG movies. Gave the adults a few hours of grownup time.

It is probably a noisy television or stereo with big speakers on the side of your camper intended to make you the most unpopular camper in any campground.

I think folks camping in the great state of Texas are aware that their neighbors in an adjacent camper may be pro 2nd Amendment. I have honestly never camped next to a noisy outdoor stereo or TV and am pretty sure I would not be a happy camper (so to speak).

When DW and I bought our first 'nice RV', the new Raptor, we could not understand the speaker controls....space-age crappola designed for 12 year-olds. After fooling with it for lord knows how long we were able to turn the volume up to about 9 out of ten in the garage and finish the movie in the living area. Ten o'clock at night when DW takes Patches for his final stroll before bed she comes in and says "My God, the volume is full blast on the exterior speakers."
I apologized to our new neighbors the next day, and all claimed to 'We never heard a thing."
Yes, I believe we were forgiven and we did finally figure out the speaker system.

Yep, first time we had outdoor speakers I had not figured it out either. Thankfully one of us? (been a long time ago) went outside and came back in with that "what the heck" comment and figured it out right away. I've never used an outside speaker for anything and don't figure our neighbors want me to. Heck, whenever we turn on the tv in the evening (I like MDK - murder/death/kill when tired of NCIS, John Wayne, Longmire, or other more mundane shows) DW always reminds me to go outside, close the door and make sure the noise inside (I sometimes crank it up a bit) isn't loud outside. That's what I expect of others and I try to do the same.

This spring at a campground in California we had a RV club come in and set up a large (6x8?) screen to watch movies every evening. They had a big set up with projection screen, surrounds, etc., so it was obviously a regular occurrence. Fortunately they were mostly seniors so the movies ended early. Lol

I think a lot of folks either don't know, or just don't get, etiquette for various places. Not about RVs but had a person buy the property next to us in the mountains; beautiful pristine valley, seasonal stream, TONS of elk that have their schedules and everyone there waits/watches for them in the evening as they pass in front of their properties playing, frolicking and just "hanging out". The new folks proposed they wanted to put up a "big screen" in the valley and have "movie nights" for the kids. The elk, deer, bear, coyotes etc. have been running that valley for years and everyone loves to watch them. After input they decided that what's fun in the city doesn't really fit in other places. Same goes in a campground/RV park IMO.
