Question Dometic Toilet Lost water pressure

Hello:

Fairly new user here, our 2016 Passport 195 toilet initially worked great, plenty of water pressure rinsing the bowl after flushing, we could here what sounded like a pump operating near the water connection to the city. First the pump sound stopped, then the rinse water stream gradually diminished until now there is little to no water flowing when the bowl is flushed. Other water pressure is unchanged and is normal (shower, sink, etc.). This is a big problem for us and would appreciate any help.

Thanks, Tony S.

Odds are the inlet screen is full of junk. Turn off all sources of water, and open the faucet in the bathroom. Once the pressure is gone, you can disconnect the supply line at the back of the toilet. Use a towel as it will still drop, then using a mirror or your phone in camera mode, look at the screen. You’ll probably have to remove the toilet to clean the screen.

You can also just remove the flush valve. Disconnect water line, remove one screw and pop the valve out. Clean it out, reinstall and you’re done. As Chuck said, it can sometimes be easier to pull the toilet if access is tight around the toilet
