Residential Refrigerator when traveling

We have just bought a 2020 Avalanche 313RS, we’ve never had a residential refrigerator. Do you have a problem with your items shifting or the door coming open?

What kind of fridge/door configuration? Ours is a 3 door Samsung and has a retention screw with handle that goes in to secure all 3 doors.

We pack the interior so that items can't shift, use cushioning materials or expandable rods to keep things in place.

Yep, great recommendation above. Also, we found some plastic clips... they are 90 degree plastic pieces that clip to the fridge Shelves. Found them at Camping World, but pretty sure easily found on Amazon too.
Just take time packing and things should ride fine.

You can get a spring loaded curtain rod at WalMart. I also use them in the bottom tracks of my shower doors.
My Insignia residential fridge has clips to hold the doors closed but I add small bungee cords.
