Fireplace Recommendations
We own a 2015 Keystone 22RBPR Bullet Premier. Is it possible to put a fireplace in the bottom of the entertainment center and if so what brand or size would you recommend?

Anything is possible. Do you know the dimensions hxwxd of the opening? Do you know if there is available power in this area? Is your camper 30 amp or 50 amp? Can you manage the power needed to operate the fireplace with other items also turned on?

Thanks ctBruce. The opening is 31"W, the inside 22"H x 34"W x 7 3/4deep. The width of the cabinet outside is 37".
My husband said the camper is 30 amp. The fireplace should be the only thing on that circuit other than the TV. I didn't quite understand when he said 'We will use it off shore power or 3100 watt generator."
How did you get your profile picture on here? It asked for a url for my picture instead of an upload. Confused me.

I would like to add a fireplace to mine as well. My friend did this to his several years ago. He had his brother-in-law, who was and RV service tech help him with the installation. Because there was not enough room in his 30 amp panel for the fireplace they added a second power cord dedicated to the fireplace only. When he goes to a campground with utilities he plugs his 30 amp power cord into the utility post as usual and if it's cold outside and he wishes to use his fireplace he plugs his second power cord into one of the 120 volt receptacles in the utility post.

Fireplace Recommendations
I'm having trouble finding one that's 32" other than at 'e-trailer' and they don't have it available. ARGH. I don't even know if that's the size to get. When you find one comfun1 let me know where you found it. I'm so new to this I just don't want to burn our RV down or order something stupid that won't fit. Still trying to figure out how people on this forum put a photo on their profiles.
Does anyone recommend a place to buy an RV fireplace?

Be careful buying a "RV Fireplace". Most are simply "overpriced home models" and offer no advantage. There are two ways that fireplaces are "measured" and sold. One is by width of the flange (typically 26") and others are sold by width of the firebox (around 21" for a 26" fireplace). So be sure of what measurement is being advertised and what measurement you need. I've seen some advertised as 25.75" fireplaces, but in reality, they require an opening 32" wide, while another dealer advertises a 26" fireplace that requires a 27" opening.... Be sure you're looking at "cutout sizes" when looking for something that fits your "opening size"....
You can usually find a suitable electric fireplace at Lowe's or Home Depot, in stock and available for immediate delivery. Be sure it's 120 volts not 220 volts. The "cutout size" is typically listed on the side of the box.

You can attach and upload a picture(s) on the forum site. Go to the user CP tab, upload the picture you want to the site and then select it as your profile picture.
There is a FAQ link at the top. Clicking this will take you to a page of how too's where this is explained.

Hopefully the one we're looking at will fit. Our measurements of the cut out and opening are larger than what's stated on the website. They had pretty good details to go by. It's a Greystone brand.
