Fixing to purchase a 2015 199ml and was hoping to hear the likes/dislikes,
Mods and any other info that might be pertinent to a noobie. Thanks

We started with a 2010 or 2011 (can't remember now) Passport 199ML. Was supposed to just be my wife and I for weekend getaways, bike trips on rail to trail locations, etc. Quickly found out once a 3rd person joined us and, especially if it rained or the bugs were bad, having to stay inside was much too tight/uncomfortable. The jack knife sofa wasn't at all comfortable. Bringing the long table in/out was a bit of a hassle when it was needed inside.

We started having family outings with grandkids and other family members. We upgraded to a Cougar 29REV within a year. We're taking delivery of a Montana 5er (3790RD) in early April. Our last family outing had 14 people, 3 sites + 2 tent sites that were abandoned during a hard rain storm. Most family trips (extended family usually too) involve from 1 to 10 others usually 4-5 times a year.

We learned the hard way that we should have gone larger earlier for both the truck and trailer but, you know, sometimes you have to evolve and take things step by step to see what happens. There was no way we'd ever have anticipated that what we thought was going to be a nice replacement to a B&B room in the 199ML would turn into major family events that all look forward to.
