Leak leak leak update

Dealer has had our Alpine for about one and a half weeks. I checked on it early last week and was devastated to see the entire back torn out, the leather couch with trim and nails laying all over it and a new problem with the kitchen floor that had a tear they done when working on the Alpine. Called Keystone and they said that was good that it was torn out because that meant they would fine the leak. They did - the air conditioner was installed incorrectly that caused the damaged.
Long story short - The Alpine looked like new, which it was and we only used it one time. We are now only waiting for the recliners to be replaced and will bring it home next Friday. So far Keystone has been great about the repairs and expedited the work to e done in two weeks.
We were very surprised how great the Alpine looked and very relieved.

I am a bit confused about Keystone's response ....... "the floor being torn out because that meant they would find the leak". Not quite sure how you would find a leak by tearing up the floor. Usually, wet or rotting floor is the result of a leak somewhere else. In your case the leak was caused by an incorrectly installed A/C.

Anyway, it matters not since the leak was discovered, repairs completed and best of all -- Keystone approved everything without any hassle! You should be relieved.

I think the OP meant that the dealer tore the flooring while working on the trailer and that they are repairing everything.
Happy trails,

The flooring was damaged while they were tearing the opposite end of the camper out to fix repairs . No one at the dealer seem to know how it happened. That tear has nothing to do with the leak just careless employees. The dealer is fixing that issue.

Sorry for the confusion. The tear in the floor was the dealer's fault and the dealer will fix. What I meant by the end being torn out and a mess was that Keystone told me that was good. When a dealer tears everything out to determine the damage t was a good thing because they just were not to cover the damage up. Keystone said that the dealer was making sure to find all damage.
