blown tire ruined skirting.

Does anyone have a ball park figure on how much it will cost to either fix or replace the skirting on one side of my travel trailer (passport 3220bhwe) Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a start for you. Go to these sites for fender skirting:

www.rvsurplus.net or www.shoprvparts.com

OR have a look on eBay and amazon.

You can get an idea of pricing from the above sites.

Depending on the extent of the damage the minimum is around a $100 for a skirt. Other damage will add to it.

mic1hael, Howdy;

Have a chat with the tech. that does the insurance work.
Those guys generally have some left overs from other
work they've done. Some folks want a matching set of fender
skirts so the have leftovers ...
I was lucky enought to get a pair for $20.00 when I need some.

Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction. I could not get the place where I bought the trailer to give me a straight answer. "just bring it in then I can quote you a price" He said. Again thanks for the tips. Yeah it's almost time to go camping

I had a brand new (spare tire) fail on I80 out west two years ago. The tire failure took out the kitchen drain valve the entire LH side skirting the plastic shroud around the tires and some of the plastic sheeting that is covering the floor on the driver side. Total cost to fix this at the dealer was $3,543.00 this includes the new spare tire and my deductible for the insurance claim.

I had a similar issue. The DW ran into the skirt and the tire shroud the first season we owned it. I called the dealer and got prices for parts shipped and I would install them. Since the skirt was on the slide side-14 ft, it would have to be truck shipped. The kid at the dealer came up with an idea, if the skirt was cut into half, it could be ups'd. Saving alot of money. Upon further review, mine was in 2 peices, the tire shroud covered the seam. I called back, had it ordered and fixed for $100. The tire shroud was a little different, but can barely tell. It had no stickers either, so I pulled the otherside's stickers off.
