That sucks big time. Did it happen while driving?

That stinks, but at least you caught it before there was water damage.

Was it overgrown trees at a campground? One of my pet peeves is campgrounds that don't keep the trees properly trimmed.

Believe it, or not, my own yard. I eased forward and snagged a tiny, leafy limb and it snagged just right.
I have a spotter any other time. DW is school shopping and I moved it alone...

It all started with changing my hitch out and a test drive....

1) So much for yelling at the property owner. But you probably did it anyway.
2) Is that two tears?
3) That EPDM is a *lot* thinner than I imagined.

I feel for you I caught a tree limb in a campground and tore the edge of the rubber and ended up getting the complete roof replaced to protect the warranty at a cost of about 7K. I'm thankful for Insurance. I'm with you I don't move without a spotter.

The plus side - I found something to add to my emergency kit!

I agree! We had a similar *incident* in a COE park with our previous 5th wheel. Ours were scuffs/scrapes, didn't actually
tear-through, but we did the Eternabond as a precaution. 3 years later, in the NM desert heat/sun, the Eternabond still
looked great when we sold the FW. Good stuff! We also carry some (& the roller) in our repair kit.
