Rusted Battery Compartment Door Hinge

The battery compartment door hinge on my 2011 28" Cougar TT is badly rusted. Does anyone know of a rust resistant replacement? Keystone customer service was of NO help. I can order replacement for about $65.00 but it willjust rust also.

You may try putting some Naval Jelly (or a similar rust inhibitor) on the steel hinge. I had some rust forming on the bottom of a truck door (years ago) and used an acid brush to apply to the area. It turned black, and that coating stopped any further rusting.
