AC recall?

I had my 2011 Alpine 3500RE in for some warranty work. When I brought it in I was told there was a recall for the AC that they would also do. I didn't think to ask what they were doing to the AC at that point.

When I picked up the camper the other day I asked what it was they did to the AC. I was shocked when the said they replaced the entire AC! I have not heard about an such recall.

Anyone know more about this?

I do not have your model of camper nor have I had a recall on my A/C system.
I think you would find out more information on this site after you have sign up. The service is free and you will be notified if there are any recalls for your model of camper.

A/C

My 2010 Keystone Alpine 3500RE is back at the Keystone factory right now having some major structural issues and a bunch of minor issues repaired. I just spoke to a customer service rep and she told me that my A/C was being replaced also due to cool air being lost into the ceiling, not cooling good enough and that there is a better comparable A/C being installed.

Can't sign up. Keeps giving me an error about my email already in their system. When I try to get them to send me the password, they say, the email is not in the system!

Also, they don't list the Alpine in their system.

Are you a member of RV Net already? That may be the issue or the e-mail address was entered incorrectly by someone else and it is actually yours.
I have heard of this happening before, one other time but very very rare. It was a releaitve of the other person and he had the same internet service.

Turns out they did not replace the AC but rather the Heat Pump. Darned thing is better than twice the size of the first one. The first was a low profile unit and this is not.
