Recessed lights

How do you access the lamps in the recessed lights? In our Alpine we have several lights that need the lamps changed but cannot figure out how remove the light cover.

If they are the little ones above the bathroom mirror, I have them, too. The cover will turn counterclockwise about an 8th of a turn or less. Then it will lift off. It may be very tight.

I figured out how to removed the flat glass cover from one of the galley lights. I see no info on the bulb for a replacement. It is a two pin type bulb. Any ideas on the type?

It's a G4 halogen. Not sure on the wattage.

I replaced the two above the vanity in the bathroom with some LED's of less brightness and am very happy with the results.

You may want to check the wiring connections on your light. I thought my bulbs were out, turned out the wiring leads from the light fixture to the supply wires was not making good contact.
Be careful when you take the fixture out as the little springs on the clips will pop your fingers pretty hard.
I had 3 light that the wiring didn't have a good connection. Those bulbs will last a long time.---Smitty
