Adding Weight To Slide Out

I have no idea what seating was original on the dining slide in this 5'er. Previous owners had bought two recliners to go beside the kitchen table. We bought small swivel rocker recliners to put there. Removed the kitchen table and it weighed 60 pounds. If I put one of the old recliners in it's place, by my figures I've added 96 pounds to the slide. If we decide to put the other old one there too that will be 192 added pounds. Is that too much weight to add to the slide since I don't know how much weight they added when they bought the first two recliners.

If you remove 60, then add 96 your only “gaining” 36 pounds. Add another 96 and you’ve gained 132 pounds. I haven’t seen a 95 pound recliner, where is that figure coming from?

I think you should be okay, RV manufacturers don’t publish weight limits for slides that I’m aware of.

The figures are coming from my back, lol. I picked up the old recliners and stood on scales. They weighed 70 a piece. Picking up the new recliners they weighed 113 a piece. A difference of 86 pounds. Remove table and chairs at 60 pounds is a gain of 26 pounds. Add one 70 pound recliner back is gain of 96 pounds. Add both back and it's a gain of 166 pounds. Here is a pic of one of the new rocker recliners that weigh 113. It's the middle one.
