Install,new furniture

Okay looking at replacing my recliners in my 2020 29rks. Door is 24 inch wide. Looking a new recliners because of the size the way I’m thinking to get them into the camper is. The back is removable so remove the back. Then left with just the seat. I’m thinking turn the seat on its side place the arm in the doorway first and while placing inside turning so the other arm will finally be inside. Anyone ever try this?

That’s pretty much the way we do it.

I took a LazyBoy reclining love seat into my camper in just that way. Actually easier than you think.

Thanks for the answers. We ordered the recliners so in 6 weeks or so we will know for sure. Was going to do with furniture from camping world. But after info I received form everyone out there. Decided to go with regular house furniture. They are nice pricy but very nice. Keeping the camper furniture to change out if and when we trade. Now the wife is talking about since they are so nice she might keep hers for the house and put her house recliner in the camper. LOL got to love them.

I just removed a double (love seat) recliner before Rooms To Go delivered the new furniture. Backs remove and the fill piece in the middle removes, no problem. It weighs about 200 pounds and I did this myself. It slides fine, and when stood on its end it will do about what you want it to. Our door is 28" and there was room to spare. I was able to sit outside and just beam at my results and drink beer for the rest of the afternoon. Well, that's about what I do anyway.

Another trick is to put them in the recline position and turn them sideways. Worked great for me.
