We lived in Louisiana for 25 years after I retired from the Air Force. So I'm all too familiar with 90 degree days in February.... My wife is from Michigan and wanted to come "home" when we finally decided to completely retire. So, here we are. The winters are sometimes "hell" but there's snowmobiles, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and a host of other things to do during the winter. And, truthfully, we hated it when we lived here and had to work every day.... Now, we get up, open the curtains with a cup of coffee in hand, and then decide whether we want to go out in it or just stay inside by the fireplace... So, in retirement, winter has a totally different perspective.... But, yeah, you're right, when it's time for spring, then darn it, spring ought to just get here... This "delayed warm spell" just isn't what I like to see.....
