Do a quick search, you'll find all kinds of hitch choices and staunch supporters for every one.

Do you mean grease on the ends of standard spring bars? I grease mine once a year. Just gotta be careful handling the bars. I store mine crossed over the tongue and the grease contacts nothing.

I use Vaseline rather than grease, I dont get the black crap all over everything and if you get Vaseline on anything, its much easier to clean up.

Seems I can't stay out of the grease and it keeps getting heavier if you know what I mean.

We have an Andersen No Sway. Really like it, very simple. The biggest complaint you will find is people saying it doesn't get enough weight to your steer axle on heavier trailers. I have over 4,000 miles with it and haven't had any problems. This is my first TT and it's the only hitch I've used, so I can't compare it to anything.
