Living room/bedrrom TV upgrade

I have a 2011 Cougar 31SQB and from day one could not stand the swivel TV that separated the living room from the master bedroom. Number 1, nobody but myself in my family knows that you cant swing the TV in a 360 turn. Number 2, You can see right into our bedroom! Number 3, viewing the TV in the living room from the couch that is perpendicular to the TV is rather hard. So, I set out to mount TV's on both sides and close that peep hole.
I first studded the opening in with mounts in mind. I then had to find stain that came close to our trim. I was close but not perfect. The bedroom side is stained a little dark but I wasn't too worried about it since the TV will be covering the whole opening. Figuring out how to route all the cables was interesting. I have a Winegard Carryout and my receiver is under our bed so I hid them as best as I can. Mounting the TV was a kind of trial and error before I found the sweet spot. I went with a Vizio 40" in the living room that is hung on a VideoSecu articulating mount from Amazon. I went with the Vizio because it is the thinnest I could find. As seen in the pictures, I have very little room from the face of the entertainment center to the side of the slide out. I would really hate to grab the TV while bringing the slide out in.
As for the bedroom, I found Best Buy had a 40" Insignia on sale for $160. I have that mounted on a VideoSecu tilt only mount. It does stick out a little bit but not too bad. I installed an HDMI splitter behind the stereo to split the DirectV signal to both TV's. I also got rid of the crappy outlets behind the stereo as well as the one beside the stereo. To top it off, I made a label for the slide out switch to remind myself or anybody else to "Check TV".

Living room - VIZIO - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV
VideoSecu ML531BE TV Wall Mount (Amazon)

Bedroom - Insignia™ - 40" Class (40" Diag.) - LED - 1080p (Best Buy)

Nice work.

At times, I wish I had a bigger TV in the livingroom.

When I bought my 31bhpr I was disappointed that my tv did not swivel to the master bedroom, I asked the dealer for a quote to make that modification, I believe it was approx $3000, I declined and did not proceed.

However based on your observations / issues I'm kind of glad that I did not proceed. My master bedroom does have a small shelf for me to place a tv in the bedroom if i wanted to add one, but so far I have held off (my RV already has three tvs, outside kitchen, bunk house, living room... Kind of sad, supposed to get away from that crap while camping).

I agree. When we are camping, TV is not to be on unless its late/bedtime or when its raining. They never ask for it anyway because we camp at Yogi and there is tons of things for them to do.

Thanks, I could not stand that TV they put in there. Terrible viewing angle and the picture is rotten. I mostly did it because I could not stand the swivel part. Kids would spin the TV in a 360 even bypassing the stopper to prevent it. Cords would almost rip in half. Not to mention I would have to watch myself as I change my clothes in fear I could be seen.

I installed 2 40 Vizeo's I bought at Best Buy....they were on sale for 299.00 each. Mounted a swing/pull-out mount where the LV tv was and built a small mount in the bedroom that mounts under the storage cabinets above the dresser.....used a Sanbus mount from wally world.
