Passport 2810 vs Laredo 28bh lht

Both unit's are pretty close to the same except the Laredo weighs about 800 lbs more and has the nicer front cap , same length also .
any idea if one is built better then the other ?
not sure the weight difference in the front cap either so there's got to be some other weight in the laredo some where . also will one a.c. unit keep this size trailer cool in south Florida ?

thank you
mike

I have had 2 different fronts on my trailers and love the molded front the best so I would go that route if it was me. Good luck

I have the 299BH (basically same floor plan but with kitchen slide). I really like the molded front cap, it allows for more storage in the front bedroom. I'd go that route. As far as the A/C, I live in central florida and just got back from vaca in Key West. Your camper should have a 13.5 A/C. tha tis plenty. OUr camper would have condensation on the windows after a day of running the A/C. I will note there is no A/C vent in the front bedroom of ours, which was a surprise, but we put a small fan on the headboard and that keeps the air moving enough to keep the bedroom cool.

Outdoor kitchen

The Laredo 28bh has an outdoor kitchen and tailgate rvq that is not on the Passport 2810. Something to consider.

We just purchased a 2810. The outdoor kitchen was not as valuable to us as having a door direct to the bathroom for the kids running in and out. I agree the front cap is much nicer on the laredo.
